Whether professional or simple user – the new Tiptel clamshell mobile, Ergophone 6020/6021, is the appropriate choice

These are absolute news, the menu of the Ergophone 6020/6021 can be adjusted to the user. Optionally the phone can be used with the entire menu functions or they can be reduced. An innovation of which Tiptel is rightfully proud: “We thus achieve that even beginners in the mobile communication can use all functions of this ergonomic phone after an adaption phase,” says Managing Director Jürgen Taplick.

“Beginner” and “Experienced” modes
In the setting “Beginner” merely very fundamental functions are available to make using the phone absolutely easy. The “Experienced” mode allows using additional functions of the phone. Thus, beginners have an easy access to mobile communications, they can write, send and read SMS while versed users in the “Experienced” mode also have access to functions like “draft”, “outbox”, “sent” and “MMS”. Only in the “Experienced” mode the SOS button can be set to receive assistance in the case of emergency. Once programmed, the emergency call can also be activated in the “Beginner” mode. Moreover, the experienced user can define the functions he needs and thus reduce his main menu to the desired features.

Reduced, plain design and many ergonomic extras
The Ergophone 6020/6021 owns a large color display and comes in a very plain, high quality design with an aluminum frame. To know about the status of calls, SMS, alarm clock and battery even if the mobile phone is folded, there are four LEDs on the front side. In the case of a new incoming message the LED with the envelope symbol blinks. With the integrated recorder memos can be saved, like shopping lists, but also conversation parts can be recorded as a reminder. The letters in the display can be shown in two different sizes in the normal large ergonomic size or in extra large. The Ergophone 6020/6021 comes with speed dialing keys for the SMS, camera and magnifying glass which can be used independently from the setting of the main menu.

The phone comes in black, Ergophone 6020, and in white, Ergophone 6021. The Ergophone 6020 has a black rubberized surface, the Ergophone 6021 is glossy white. Both mobiles are available by the beginning of December 2011 for a suggested retail price of 119.90 euros.

Once adjusted, three keys are sufficient to use all main functions of the Tiptel answering machine Ergophone 307.

With the Ergophone 307 Tiptel complies with the great demand for a simple to use answering machine. As with all Tiptel appliances, the sound quality of this ergonomic device is excellent. Typical for ergonomic devices, the volume of the message playback can be turned extra loud, the keys are large and clearly arranged and the display writing is especially large and legible.

Keep it simple
According to the Tiptel Ergophone slogan “keep it simple”, the answering machine Ergophone 307 can be managed with a few keys only. Besides the on and off switch there are but three keys with which you can use all functions: one key for “messages”, one for “forward” and one for “back”. There is no need for deleting messages. The Ergophone 307 comes with a ring buffer which automatically deletes messages that have been played as soon as the memory capacity of 20 messages is full. Thus, the 21st message replaces the first played message.  

Flash memory instead of batteries
For the recording of messages, the market leader from Ratingen developed a process with a sampling frequency of 11.025 kHz, which generates a professional sound quality. In total, the answering machine disposes of a storage capacity of 40 minutes. With two minutes’ memory space per call every important message can be saved. Thanks to the modern flash memory technology which substitutes batteries and an extremely low power consumption, less than 1 W in stand-by mode, the Ergophone 307 is absolutely environmentally friendly.

The Ergophone 307 is available by October 2011. The suggested retail price amounts to 99.90 euros. 

The answering machine tiptel 309 is the successor of the well-selling tiptel 308 and comes with a new design, a bigger display and other improvements.

“Improve the tried-and-true.”
Under this motto Tiptel presents its smallest professional answering machine made in Ratingen. Thanks to its design and a 20 percent larger and backlit display, compared to its predecessor, the tiptel 309 is technically absolutely cutting edge.

Excellent voice quality
Tiptel answering machines have always been characterized by an excellent sound quality. A very low speech compression guarantees the high quality of speech transmission. The recording system has been changed from ADPCM 32 kbit/s to A-Law with 88.2 kbit/s. The tiptel 309 recording capacity has been increased by 10 minutes from 30 to 40 minutes.

Playing messages selectively
And there is more news: The “beep” signal indicating the readiness to record new messages has been replaced by the Tiptel sound logo. A comfortable recording list allows to select recordings individually. Thanks to the modern flash memory technology batteries are no longer necessary. Power consumption in stand-by mode amounts to less than 1 W and is thus extremely low.

With the Ergophone 6030 Tiptel presents its first ergonomic clamshell mobile with camera, magnifier glass function and flash light

Ratingen, September 6, 2011 – The new Tipel clamshell mobile, Ergophone 6030, features important functions and excellent properties. Consciously, the menu has been reduced to the most basic functions, the user may even himself choose his menu points. Extra keys for camera and magnifying glass make the phone especially simple to use. After its highly successful entrance into the GSM market Tiptel consequently pursues the development of the ergonomic branch.

“We want to be better than the market”
Stimulated by the increased demand for robust and easy to use phones beyond the smartphone range, Tiptel presents its first ergonomic clamshell mobile. Managing Director Jürgen Taplick about his strategy: “Tiptel is always looking for chances to comply better with our customer’s requirements than our competitors. We want to be better than the market.” Thus, for example, Tiptel ergonomic phones come with manuals containing detailed descriptions in large print. “This is a very important aspect for our customers. They expect to be informed about the functions of their mobiles in a fast and clearly designed manner.”

Reading small print without any difficulties thanks to the magnifier glass
The Ergophone 6030 contains an integrated magnifier glass, which can be easily activated by an extra key. Also the trigger of the camera is on an extra key. Thus, there is no need to search these functions in the menu. What is more, the user can compile his personal menu by choosing some functions and suppressing others. The user menu corresponds in its simple use to that of the Ergophone 6010/6011 which has been judged “very good” by the Austrian magazine “Konsument” in the edition 4/2011. Especially the menu navigation has been highlighted by the consumer magazine. A good acoustic, large keys and a legibly display are standard as they come with all Tiptel ergonomic phones.

The Ergophone 6030 comes in black and is available by October 2011. The suggested retail price are 119.90 euros.
